FBLA’s National President is a senior at McMinn Central High School
in Tennessee. Other leadership positions that he has held have
included FBLA State President, FBLA State Reporter, and Tennessee State
4-H Governor.
Some of his awards and honors include, First place for FBLA Public
Speaking, State First Place winners in the American Legion
Constitutional Oratorical Contest, Who’s Who Among American High School
Students, National Society of High School Scholarships, National
Achievement Academy Awards, and a National Finalist in the “Igniting
Creative Energy Challenge” contest.
Joseph hopes to pursue a career in constitutional law and the federal judiciary.
Courtney Ferguson

Courtney Ferguson is a senior at Lakeland Senior High School, which
is located in serene Shrub Oak, New York. She has been a member of the
Future Business Leaders of America for the past three years. As a
freshman, she joined the organization hoping to meet new people and
gain an understanding of American enterprise. Little did she know that
the organization would provide much more. This past year she served as
New York State Secretary as well as Eastern Region Secretary. In
addition to serving as your National Secretary this year she will also
be serving as Parliamentarian for New York State. As a part of your
National Officer Team she hopes to bring about valuable change to the
organization and help its members

Emily Adams

Emily Adams, your 2008-2009 FBLA National Treasurer, is a senior at
Mount Anthony Union High School, and the Southwest Vermont Career
Development Center in Bennington, Vermont. As an active FBLA member
Emily has demonstrated leadership by serving as a two time Vermont
State Officer, and by serving on the Eastern Region Board. Emily also
serves as a youth Ambassador for the Vermont March of Dimes. She
believes that FBLA allows student to show their success outside of the
classroom, and enjoys meeting members from all across the country.

Eric Li
FBLA National Parliamentarian
Cinco Ranch High School, TX

Eric Li attends Cinco Ranch High School located just outside of
Houston. He became truly involved in FBLA after competing and learning
from his advisers and fellow students at his first SLC. In the past, he
has held the offices of chapter and area parliamentarian, and he is
currently the Texas Parliamentarian and executive Vice President of his
local chapter. Outside of FBLA, Eric is involved in orchestra, Academic
Decathlon, World Scholar’s Cup, and math honor society. In the upcoming
year, he hopes to boost middle level membership across the nation and
spread knowledge and practice of parliamentary procedure.
Paul Cohen
FBLA Eastern Region Vice President

M. Cohen, a senior from Vineland High School in New Jersey, is honored
to serve as your Eastern Region Vice President. Paul currently leads
New Jersey FBLA as State President, and served last year as State
Webmaster, the National President’s Technology Assistant, and the
Eastern Region International Relations Director. Joining FBLA in his
freshman year, Paul saw FBLA as a way to develop his business skills.
Since then, Paul has completed all levels of the Business Achievement
Awards. Paul owns Trinston, a twelve-employee Web site design company
he established in 2003, and operates Trinston Diversified, an internet
investment company responsible for developing additional internet-based
endeavors. Seeking to develop FBLA by increasing membership, improving
communications, increasing activity, and improving awareness, Paul
welcomes your input via phone or email.
Justin Schultis
FBLA Mountain Plains Region Vice President

Justin is from Fairbury High School in Nebraska. He is Fairbury
chapter’s two-term president and Nebraska FBLA’s two-term state
president. Justin is passionate about FBLA. He qualified to attend the
State Leadership Conference his freshman year and has since been active
at the local, state, and national level. In addition, he is also a
grand champion auctioneer. Justin conducts auctions on a regular basis
and has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for communities,
schools, and families in need.
Caleb Harris

Caleb Harris proudly serves as your North Central Region Vice
President. He attends Jackson High School in Missouri. Caleb is also
the Missouri District 15 President and the Co-President of Jackson High
School FBLA. Winning numerous awards at district and state competition,
Caleb has competed in three events at National Leadership Conferences.
Although Caleb nonchalantly joined FBLA his sophomore year, he quickly
gained respect and passion for the incredible organization and the many
opportunities it creates for students. A couple of Caleb’s main goals
are to help members become more involved at the national level and to
increase membership. In addition to FBLA, Caleb is involved in National
Honor Society, Hi-Step, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Concert
Choir, and Spanish Club.
Melissa Hou
FBLA Southern Region Vice President

Melissa Hou, your Southern Region Vice President, is a senior
at duPont Manual High School in Louisville, Kentucky. Three years ago,
she joined FBLA for the competitive events and conferences, but found
infinitely more in the organization that has defined her high school
career. Melissa is a two-time national competitive event honoree,
two-term state officer, and America level recipient. Additionally, she
has served as National President's Expansion Chair and Southern Region
Parliamentarian. This year, Melissa challenges all members to Get the
Edge by demonstrating passionate, active leadership and she also hopes
to develop new resources for members across the nation.
Morgan Wilson

Morgan Wilson attends White River High School in Buckley,
Washington where she is a junior and a member of the National Honor
Society. She first got involved with FBLA at a young age when her
mother became an adviser, and has loved it ever since. As a freshman
she was the local chapter’s Public Relations officer. During her
sophomore year she was Washington’s State Vice President representing
the Midwest Region. Also, in the past two years she was voted ‘Most
Likely to Run a Fortune 500 Company’ in her high school. Morgan is
excited to serve as your Western Region Vice President!
