Donnie Iorio is humbled and honored to have been reelected to serve as your Phi Beta Lambda National President for the 2013 - 2014 membership year. To Donnie, the past membership year went by so fast but the promise of tomorrow burns brighter than ever. He looks forward to building the organization's membership and enhancing retention along with the PBL National Officer Team. Donnie's other goal for this year includes creating a resource to help chapters engage with our National Partner the March of Dimes. Donnie spends his free time cheering on the University of South Carolina football team and serving as a Resident Mentor in his residence hall. Donnie invites you to contact him with any questions, comments, and concerns you have about PBL this year via email and social media. Together with the members of Phi Beta Lambda, Donnie looks forward to showcasing Excellence in Action!

Beau began his FBLA-PBL career as an FBLA member in 2005 in Kentucky and has had the honor of serving on the local, state, and national level. In 2007, he began serving on the FBLA-PBL National Board as the FBLA National President’s Executive Assistant when he founded the National Membership Committee. Since 2005, he has lived in 6 different metropolitan areas in the U.S., and although his location has changed, his passion for the organization has continued to grow. In 2012, Beau served as the PBL National President’s Assistant as well as the TN PBL State President. One of his favorite FBLA-PBL memories is re-chartering the chapter at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. He has been a member of all divisions, and cannot wait to show members that FBLA-PBL is a lifetime organization!

Morgan Melot is excited to serve as your 2013-2014 National Treasurer. Morgan began “Breaking Barriers” with FBLA-PBL in 2010 at Tulsa Community College’s West Campus, where she graduated with Honors and obtained an Associate’s Degree in Business. While there, she charged through the “Gateway to Greatness,” where she first served as her local chapter Historian/Reporter, then President, and finally was elected Oklahoma’s 2012-2013 State President. Her journey progressed and Morgan “Ignited Innovation” while serving as Oklahoma’s State President and participating on the Mt. Plains Region Action Council from Oklahoma State University, where she is currently studying Accounting. As a National Officer, she hopes to create a sense of unity & purpose throughout the entire year, encouraging members to contact her with questions, concerns, or any ideas they may have, and she challenges everyone to put their “Excellence In Action”!

Stephanie Boardman is a junior at the University of Northern Iowa where she is double majoring in Marketing and Public Relations with a minor in Spanish. Throughout Stephanie’s FBLA-PBL career, she has held an officer role at the local, state and national level. Within these seven years of involvement, Stephanie has also been awarded Ms. Iowa FBLA, Who’s Who in Iowa FBLA, and Who’s Who is Iowa PBL. She is excited to return for her second year as a national officer and assist all the members in putting “Excellence into Action” for another great year in Phi Beta Lambda.

Karthik Krishnan is honored to serve as the 2013 - 2014 PBL Eastern Region Vice President. He currently attends college in Maryland, where he is studying accounting and economics. He has been an active member of FBLA-PBL for the past 6 years and has been more involved with the organization with each passing year. Karthik has served as Pennsylvania PBL State Vice President ('12-'13), FBLA National Treasurer ('10-'11), numerous other state and local officer positions over the years, and is currently involved with Maryland PBL. Karthik's leadership philosophy stems from a quote by John C. Maxwell, "A Leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way." Karthik looks forward to sharing his experiences and working with his fellow members to showcase "Excellence in Action" in the Eastern Region and beyond.

Currently Katie is finishing up her Master’s of Professional Studies in Strategic Human Resource Management at the University of Denver in Colorado. She has been an active member of FBLA-PBL for the past five years and currently serving her third term as the Colorado PBL State President. Candi is ecstatic to serve as your 2013-2014 North Central Region Vice President. She has been a part of Phi Beta Lambda going on four years. In that time she has served as her local chapter Secretary and President, State Secretary and Treasurer as well as perused many other leadership opportunities in various organizations. Candi currently attends Illinois State University where she is triple majoring in Human Resource Management, Organizational Leadership, and Economics. She has the skills and mindset to help our region sore to new heights, and looks forward to us all working together to show how PBL puts “Excellence in Action”

Glenn Gilyot is honored to serve as your 2013-2014 Southern Region Vice President. Glenn is majoring in chemistry with a minor in English at Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans, Louisiana. Glenn’s FBLA-PBL career included includes a five year span of local, state, and regional positions. Glenn served his FBLA chapter in high school as Treasurer, Vice President, and President. Once graduating from high school, he founded his PBL chapter and was elected State President in Spring 2012. He also served as a member of the Southern Region Action Council and is the 2013 Who’s Who recipient from Louisiana PBL. Glenn looks forward to working with the members and state officers of the Southern Region and improving communication in the Southern Region.

Bryan Poulsen is a senior Computer and Information Technology student at Dixie State University in St. George, Utah. He joined FBLA-PBL during his senior year of high school. Bryan currently serves as the Utah PBL President. He placed second in Web Site Design at the 2011 NLC and third at the 2010 NLC. He sits as a member on the Dixie State social media, marketing, web, and university rebranding committees as a student representative. He looks forward to working with members of PBL and strengthening recruitment and retention programs.
