Job Shadow Day

Monday, February 04, 2013
The National Job Shadow Coalition encourages young people across
the country to explore their futures through career awareness and
mentoring opportunities. Job shadowing is an academically motivating
activity designed to give students an up-close look at the world of
work and to answer the question, “Why do I have to learn this?” The
nationwide kick-off is Groundhog Job Shadow Day. Students across
America “shadow” workplace mentors as they go through a normal
day on the job. Visit www.jobshadow.org for the kick-off date, ideas, and
helpful materials.
